Cake of the Month: Volume 2
The second cake of the month is our (mostly Claire's) first wedding cake! Claire was a bridesmaid AND the super-cake decorator...in Texas! She is amazing. The day before she left, we baked and crumb frosted all nine cakes. And then Claire worked her magic when she got there.

Beautiful. Is that a fondant icing and what kind of cake is underneath. I imagine it would need to be a dense one.
ReplyDeleteThe cake is a plain vanilla cake with buttercream icing and then the panels are fondant. :)
